In-House Fabrication Services
Mechanical Fabrication Capabilities
Our fabrication facility furnishes us with the ability to control the production of fabricated materials, and also their delivery to the project sites. This results in reduced lead times for the delivery of piping spools and fabricated materials to our mechanical construction projects.
This contributes to Poole & Kent's ability to adhere to stringent schedule milestones and function in the competitive marketplace.
Poole & Kent’s in-house mechanical fabrication capabilities include, but are not limited to: ASME B31.1 Welding Capability, X-Ray Quality Welding, Roll Grooved Systems, Soldered Systems, Sil-Fos Systems, Threaded Systems, Electro-Polished Stainless Steel-Orbital Butt Welded Systems, PVDF and Polypropylene-Butt Fusion Systems, Hanger Systems, and Structural Steel Systems.
The major fabrication equipment presently utilized for fabrication includes: cutting tables; plasma cutters; Victaulic mechanical grooving machines 24"; 36" positioners up to 60" (inches). semi-automatic dual feed 400 amp welding machines; threading machines; T-drill, tube, and spinner; 18" vertical band saw; Ironman/shear punch machine; drill press; ARC orbital butt welding machines; and Agru infrared butt fusion machines.
